A focus on finance is key to our understanding of the markets in which we operate. Working closely with finance and their closely related functions - risk, compliance, audit and IT - we find that finance roles are often a more direct route to general management. Finance roles are also more easily transferable across industries - and increasingly across countries and regulatory regimes. Despite perceived instability in some markets, there will always be a need for commercially-minded and forward-thinking finance directors, who can help businesses make the most of any situation.
