Gordon joined Wrightson Wood in 2005, as a Consultant and heads up the Bristol office. Much of his experience comes from working in the cards and payments sector with an emphasis on key senior level roles such as credit risk, sales and marketing. He works with large blue chip corporate clients as well as smaller, fast moving entrepreneurial start-ups and high growth businesses.
Before joining Wrightson Wood, Gordon was a Director of the Executive Search division of a privately owned recruitment group in the South West. He built and developed the firm's expertise in middle and senior level recruitment over three years and helped it become the preferred recruitment partner for many large financial services businesses in the UK. Gordon previously spent three years with a London executive search firm, focussing primarily on consumer goods and financial services.
Gordon's earlier career involved business development and client relationship management in the media industry.
