James acquired Wrightson Wood in 2002 and is the Managing Director. He focusses on financial services with a particular emphasis on consumer finance. His expertise covers general management, marketing, strategy, sales, distribution, finance, risk and human resources. However, the diverse needs of our wide range of clients has given James an opportunity to expand his experience even further - across functional and industry sectors throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia.
Prior to 2002, James was a Partner at Korn/Ferry International, where he led the development of retail finance in the UK, and the Financial Services e-commerce team in Europe. He also managed UK Research teams based in London and Birmingham. James joined them in 1998 after six years with Michael Page. After three successful years in its London offices, James helped set up the company's Australian marketing and sales operation based in Sydney.
