Michael joined as the Chairman of Wrightson Wood in 2008 and is also the Managing Director and founder of "Ronoc Financial Solutions" a boutique Consulting and Investment Company focussing on emerging market economies, set up in 2007.
Prior to that Michael was in Russia where he was the founding CEO of Renaissance Credit and established the third largest consumer finance bank. A green-field operation he successfully set up the business in Russia, Ukraine and had a Joint Venture with IKEA. He established lending operations for Sales Finance, Auto Lending, Personal Loans and Credit Cards in over sixty offices across the region.
Prior to joining Renaissance Credit Michael had an extensive and successful career with American Express where he worked in their Card, Travel and International Dollar businesses in EMEA and Russia.
