Simon joined Wrightson Wood in 2010 as a Consultant. He covers the Fixed Income and Debt Capital Markets arena with an emphasis on senior level trading, sales, origination and syndication roles. Clients range from the large global investment banks, hedge funds, brokerage operations through to smaller start-up boutiques.
Prior to joining Wrightson Wood Simon worked at Corporate Consulting Group for 7 years as a Financial Services Search Consultant having started his recruitment career with Sheffield Haworth in 1996. There, Simon helped grow their Capital Markets division and managed the European offices as an Executive Director of the firm.
Simon's earlier 15-year career was as a gilt and European bond market-maker and proprietary trader with Ackroyd & Smithers, SG Warburg and Kleinwort Benson in London and Banco Inversion in Madrid. This intimate knowledge and experience of the bond markets enables Simon to give both real perspective and valuable insight to clients and candidates alike.
